As a general rule, it is not in the public interest for young persons to go about armed with offensive weapons. This applies even though they may believe they may possibly be attacked. There is an ever growing knife culture amongst the young persons attending educational premises and the Government introduced a new law to combat this trend in May 2007
Team Development Training
What appear small matters to an outsider such as friction between workers, low motivation levels, inefficient working practices and negative mental attitudes, can all lead to tasks not being performed, quick turn-over of staff and poor quality work.
Recruit Assessment Training
Britain is slowly catching up and the popularity of recruit
assessment is growing.
For those of you who have experience of employing staff we ask you to reflect on the following two questions.
How much do you really know about a perspective employee when you have interviewed them?
Have you employed people only to find that their attitude or aptitude is not suited to the work they have applied for?
Anger Management
The
goal of anger management is to reduce both emotional feelings and
the physiological arousal that anger causes. Employees and Managers
alike cannot get rid of, or avoid, the things or the people that
enrage them, nor can they change them, but they can learn to control
their reactions.
Stress
Management
Stress is the physical and
mental response of the body to demands made upon it. It is the
result of our reaction to outside events, not necessarily the events
themselves.

Dealing With
Complaints
In
order to build a successful business, you strive to achieve
excellence but there are occasions when a customer is not happy with
the product or service they have received. If a situation of
dissatisfaction is handled correctly, it can lead to the customer
being more faithful and devoted to your company.
Performance
Appraisal
In the
current climate of business, there is less and less time for people
to talk to each other about each other. More and more time is spent
dealing with customers and products and meetings. There is a great
need to hold on to these valuable face-to-face opportunities.
Performance appraisals offer a way to protect and manage and nurture
these situations.
Feedback
Giving and receiving clear
and constructive feedback requires courage and skill, and is
essential to building good relationships with and motivating peak
performance from your team.
Gender Equality
Duty
The
Gender Equality Duty [GED] requires public authorities to promote
equality between women and men and eliminate unlawful sex
discrimination and harassment. This means the public sector will
have to develop policies, design services and have employment
practices with the different needs of women and men in mind. The
duty covers all the functions of a public authority, such as
policy-making, public services, and employment.
